I suspect they will want to hold to the previous profit warning this soon to the previous Reliance announcements given that project theoretically hasnt progressed much beyond the 30% stage where further material impairments can be ascertained otherwise it smacks of not releasing SP sensitive information to the mkt in a timely fashion...but as suggested earlier by ors many a new MD takes the opportunity to clear the decks, bring out the dead and have a really bad year citing his predessors inability and set the stage for a huge uplift in following years. Only problem is I actually dont hear of too many major problem projects down the pub...the whole KNOX/Reliance/SP decline was a bit of a beatup on many levels...not saying it wasnt warranted when the DOW MD is the 15th highest paid MD in Australia but the company has slipped from its #50 place to #150 place he was out of step with reality.
