Indeed, I wonder what happened to Yas. I don’t think she is still in HK. Shortly after that boat trip, I retired for the first time and spent 3 years sailing the East Coast USA and the Caribbean. Then I un-retired and went back to HK/China for a couple of years before calling it quits. I never caught up with her in HK the second time around after losing her phone number. Pity, she’s a lovely person.

One of these days, I’ll head back to Perth to revisit the old haunts in Subiaco. When I do, I’ll let you know.

As for VMT? Who knows. But the old saying that “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” seems to pretty much spring to my mind every time I think of it. Not much left for us but to cross every finger and toe.
