A lot of water to flow under that bridge yet, gracesteel11, but nonetheless its an interesting play being attempted here by ANS/WAPRC

The Australian Govt have not, and probably will not, officially endorsed the Chinese 'One Belt, One Road' initiative. Clearly they are concerned about the possible take over and/or buy out of key or strategic assets and projects by the Chinese in Aus.

What better way to prove the value of this Chinese global initiative to the Aus government, and potentially gain access to the Oakajee Port development, than to financially assist one struggling listed Aussie company establish its primary asset, an iron ore development in Africa (note the higher 62% fe content of the resource....), via another struggling listed Aussie company, who has long had desires to promote and develop the mid west of WA, with the Oakajee port as the centre piece.

Its a very lengthy, expensive and risky way of attempting to gain the trust of the aus government......

The next three months or so will be very interesting, indeed.
