While you do get analysts in a herd when they're behind/chasing a TREND, to drum up some business and try to prove their worth they need to be divergent on some stocks (of lesser Mkt Cap & invested).
Goldman's particularly try to go the opposite way & then when one eventually comes off (as it will) play off it for all its worth.
