i have no problem with a non technical ceo. there are pluses and minuses for all types
the best performing gold stocks are generally run by non technical ceos in fact - thats how barrick became no 1 for 20+ years, how evn became a top company etc
its about the skill of the individual operative
dont forget rsg has also had excellent hedging - again thats a pro from the corporate finance background the rsg ceo brings
the real skill is to be able to divine when you are being bs'd.
ive met plenty of technical ceos and execs who'll outpace the rest for that. in fact they are worst - because technicians trust technicians - so they tell each other the biggest porkies trading on the secret handshake
