I supect it may be due to concerns over a shortfall in the uptake by retail investors for the TSI, Transfiield Services Infrastucture fund. Announced 9th June 2010
"Transfield Services Limited (TSE) will subscribe for the remaining 29.8 million (1) New Securities to be issued under the Retail Entitlement Offer, bringing the total amount invested by TSE in TSI Fund under the Equity Offer to approximately $43.2 million."
Then as a footnote.
"1. Comprising the shortfall in the Retail Entitlement Offer"
The SP dipped after this announcement came out. Perhaps some shareholders had an expectation the Retail offer would be fully subscribed and TSE would not have to outlay cash.
