The 75% IRR that AOK often quotes is at $85/bbl. Oil prices are unlikely to stay below $80 for any length of time because many Shale oilers will not drill further below this price. Internationally most OPEC countries inc Saudi needs $80+ to sustain their budgets. AOK should weather the storm quite easily but share price may reflect market jitters rather than fundamentals.
In $AUD terms, we may actually see profits rising given some factors causing the oil price drop are also causing the $AUD drop.
