Yrs ago I worked for a Korean company that brought over schoolkids for a couple of yrs at a time to get the 'Aussie'experience. Each holidays we would take them somewhere different and Dreamworld was one venue near the top of the list. I got bored with it and persuaded company owner to choose 'Movieworld'. Same type of stuff and i was bored and found myself in an arena waiting for a NYPD show featuring stunt cars to begin.

A clown was walking around greeting guests as they walked along in front of crowd looking for a seat. Clown had a telescopic car aerial with a soft feather tied to the tip. He'd wait for a serious looking Japanese businessman type to enter arena, march in step behind him and tickle back of his ear with feather. Clown was so adept he could collapse the aerial in a flash feigning innocence.

It was incredibly funny to watch these business types slapping their ear, shaking their heads with increasing ferocity to ward off the dreaded Aussie housefly. With each clout of his ear the crowd would increase its mirth until they almost roared with laughter. By now the businessmen thought he should laugh too (although he had no idea why) and the more he clouted himself the bigger he would grin. I never saw a tourist catch on to the trick.

I went back another 2x that day. No ride, no water feature, no trapeze artist... nothing could match the rib splitting slapstick humour of the invisible fly.
