Nice to see another with such conviction. If I held such a strong belief and was so cock sure of the gold price direction I would do exactly what I did with the banks a while back and be shorting the hell out of gold. Mortgage your house and short gold and if things go the way you say you should make an absolute fortune.
I know how well I did holding $80.00 puts on a bank falling to $55.00 so would expect the $400.00 fall in gold you predict to be a once in a life time opportunity. Please keep us informed once you get positioned (possibly already in @ $1,900.00) and of your progress on the road to fabulous wealth.
However; I would caution that INHO 1980 was a very different time and situation to the one we are currently in. I would suggest that at some point the price of gold will need to reflect the enormous amounts of paper money printed out of fresh air and more so now as Europe commences printing.
I admire anyone with the orchestra stalls you display and look forward to hearing of your progress.
