I am trying to be a little optimistic. Maybe foolish desperation...
You are right, it has already been made clear in various ways that Goldcorp wont partake in Cerro. Surely the market has priced this in already from these snippets of information, particularly the big players who would be well aware of it.
Also I am hoping that the main role they (GC) would have played was funding and the wording in the dfs is relatively optimistic around alternative options for this. More optimistic than I thought it needed to be if they had no good options on the go.
Anyway, feeling like a bit of a fool for all my impatience and posts around wanting them to hurry up and get the dfs out, I thought that was the catalyst and clearly not. Lets hope an announcement on funding gets people more excited.
