    Thanks for the detailed explanation but I have to say you are confusing me.

    Lorraine to my understanding is only about coal bed methane and has nothing to do with underground coal gasification.

    Unless you know differently, lets not confuse the two technologies on the EPG thread. Fwiw, a properly designed and controlled ucg operation at appropriate depths will give little or no surface expression of cavity collapse. The same goes for underground coal mining at depth.

    Use of electricity generation equipment at Gazonor to chew up the current proven 1P/2P reserves of coal mine methane makes good cash flow sense I would think ... particularly if there is a premium paid by the French Govt because they regard use of coal mine methane as greenhouse gas abatement.

    I am quite comfortable waiting for the results of the due dilligence period for Gazonor electricity production, as I am for completion of the Folschviller test well and I am particularly keen to see the impact that Rod B will have on technical matters.
