re: goldbars oh i remember that discussion on GIP lol - they seemed to be emailing the CEO on issues - well im sure company CEOs get lots of shareholder informaiton requests via email - and they would also be aware they cannot give you inside information either - they can give generalisations within the listing rules relating to disclosure or they can decline to give information and tell people wait for shareholder updates or they if enough emails asking for info realise the ASX a company update on anything so the whole market is informed.
