I appreciate what's RM's had to teach me in his book about determining a sense of loose IV (intrinsic value) as well as plenty of other stuff. For that I certainly thank him for upping my knowledge and helping me determine a potential value and opinion on a stock rather than just buy it cause someone else says so or thinking 'it should go up'.

Considering what something is worth puts a floor under an actual business's s/price for me and should it go too fair either side I need to act for me, as surely no one else will or should. It certainly gives a sense of peace of mind and empowerment. I suppose as is always the case the market price isn't the value, it's just what someone will pay, which even then isn't right or wrong, it just is.

On the cautious side I think RM has gone out and flogged himself to the masses as he's entitled to and in a big way they have responded. No doubt that comes with a rude awakening that some folks are resting at your feet as the new Messiah and certainly a few of his blog followers do sould like religious converts (unfortunatley these folk tend to check their brains at the door, don't think too much for themselves (usually due to their lack of rounded knowledge and past limited experience) and will hold too long on then be very disapointed) but all the while he is never saying he is the Messiah and to please do your own thinking.

He and his diehard followers may all benefit from a stern reality check from the mouth of the Master. All up his meassage is positive for many, as it has been to me.
