Here is another additional tidbit for the complex web of inter company relationships:
Ernst & Young, the auditor is also their landlord and is paying them $900k + per year in rent for a 10 year lease starting in 2015. Now those leases would have had increases, I assume 3% or 4% pa, so thats gotta be close to $980k per annum now.
So lets just step back for a second:
- $900k Rent (ignoring the increases)
- $340k in non audit services
- $296k in auditing
So Blue Sky is just the gift that keeps giving for EY, circa $1,536,000 a year...
