Shortman is fine when you want to look at total short positions for stocks and how that has changed over time (i.e., the graph that on the shortman.com website sits above the table you have appended in your post), but that table itself shows only gross short sales, meaning that without showing any short covering sales on each day, it is not at all meaningful.
