As for the higher rated car loans, there are a couple of other main players:
Liberty Financial - CBA just bought a large wack of them
Finance One - Smaller unlisted group with private investors out of QLD
Center One - Smaller again out of QLD private company.
Gogetta - Listed as Silver Chef on ASX - more commercial car loans
There are a few others too, just a sample.
ratesetter don't "do car loans" they simply palm them through to the applicable lender.
