Found an old report in existance titled:

'Development of Low-Permeability Gas Reserves Hydraulic
Fracture in the Surat Basin, Australia..'

It covers frac. testing done in the surat back in the late 80's just a few k's from MOS ground on the same sandstones..

Best I could do to get it was pay $20 bucks to download and can't provide a link..

but the long and the short is it does prove the showground sandstones have been successfully fractured , and they were able to turn 150 mcfd into 2.5 to 6 mmcfd depending on the well. Results varied as they trialled different propants and chemicals..but all in all very positive results which increased flow rates by over 10 times.


Bodes well esp. considering they have better propants and techniques now.
