NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS
PLATINUM AUSTRALIA LIMITED ACN 093 417 942
(IN LIQUIDATION) (‘THE COMPANY’)

I refer to my appointment as Administrator of the Company on 28 June 2012, my subsequent
appointment as Deed Administrator of the Company on 18 October 2012 and finally my
appointment as Liquidator of the Company on 2 November 2015.

I note that the Company has been deregistered from the Australian Securities Exchange. In this
regard, I have reasonable grounds to believe that there is no likelihood that shareholders of the
Company will receive any distribution in the course of the winding up.

I suggest you consult with your tax accountant on this matter however in light of the above, I
consider a capital loss on the Company’s shares in accordance with section 104-145 of the
Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 may now be claimed for taxation purposes.
