Sandune has been plugging this one for a while now and lists it as the top pick for 2005. Why? It certainly has some highly prospective leases in the Kalgoorlie area AND has a mutually satisfactory farmout deal with Placer AND has a very low market cap. at present.
However, why is Sandune repeatedly hinting at something big happening in January? I understood that drilling of the gold leases is in temporary abeyance, which leaves the possibility of a farmout deal with a nickel major as my best bet for any January announcement.
Or is Sandune just guessing that something will happen simply because options expire at the end of Jan? The big buyer at 24 cents gives confidence that the options don't require propping up at this stage.
