I am under the belief that the Bank of America is buying for themselves or nominee investors and not for Shell.
I am also under the belief that they know that there could be another bidder in the background currently doing their homework, hence why they are increasing their stakes/holdings.
I may be wrong but, why on earth would the Bank of America buy shares at a higher price than the Shell offer..?? I can't see them buying with a loss in mind. And I can't see them selling into Shell at a loss knowing full well that they can get caught for manipulation if an Audit is ever made by ASIC.
My thoughts, and DYOR.
For the time being, I will contiue to hold tight on my AOE.
