If you are talking about synergies in savings and sensor data, e.g. each light a node with ir camera, how.much more complimentary can you get.
Give that ir camera switching capability with no power draining ballasts to start your lighting, how much power could that save you over 30 stories of building? you could have your lighting tracking people over a building, talking to the next light depending on your direction of travel.
Give all of those lights control of your HVAC, you can selectively cool and heat and increase building efficiency.
Start those lights looking at heat exchanger temperatures and you can pick up preventative maintenance issues.

Jumping on the speculation train! LIFX absolutely seems like the right fit. If BUD has managed to pull it off IMHO it is the dream acquisition. I believe they are only second to Phillips globally in the smart light space, and that have a superior product. They would also give BUD the control over and above the monitoring, which is something they have always lacked.
On top of this it's all about voice activated digital assistants (Like Alexa) at the moment. A recent article (I believe in the AFR?) commented that more than 25% of US adults will use one of these devices next year. With lighting being the number 1 external device type that Alexa users are connecting to their systems.
Major retailers like Amazon are selling LIFX light bundles with their Amazon Echo device. This could makes LIFX a nice match/ bundle for additional Ohm services like energy management etc? IMHO... DYOR
