No doubt it is Insight UAS Australia trying to illustrate to Ericsson and Telstra what type of solution they can deliver as a leading Unmanned Aerial Survey and Inspection Solutions, so it is good to see that Pointerra is part of their solution.
The other post worth noting is the streetscape, with a small demo dataset around Southwell, UK, captured with 3D Laser Mappping's StreetMapperIV system.This might be another test/trial that is taking place. the StreetMapperIV system could capture a lot of data and be sold on the Pointerra data marketplace?
3DLaserMapping have offices in the UK, South Africa, Aus and USA, so a nice fit to work with them across key geographies.
