After decades of this game I am also in the same category as you and share your view of directors and their twisted and self centred approach to company management. Not in every company though.

BTW I did not display a "belief" or "hope" in the company management, just provided a heads up to the question and where he/she should be looking during the analysis phase.

My commment maybe taken out of context. I was responding to what and how EasyBoy should consider when making his decision from a practical standpoint. Ticking the boxes of company analysis including assessing the management, among other things.

Now what his/her assessment of this companies management comes out as it subject to his/her research.

Yes you are right it is a big "bet", some may even say a prayer, but each investor out there needs to keep their eye on this game and not the cheerleaders at half time.
