Whether Lockitt’s faith or my scepticism ultimately turns out to be justified, we are coming to the salty end of the stick, like it or not.
Dave has been well paid for a decade and a half to provide no value for shareholders. Euc’ s post was excellent. Summed it up better than I ever could. New trendy commodities and blue sky announcements seem to have had their day. Dave can either deliver on the 15 years of promises that have been made, or he can’t. He will always be rubbish at communicating the strategy and direction. I think it is a leopard and spot thing. Either way, we will be moving towards multiples of the current sp in 12-18 months or Dave should be retired.
i hope Lockitt is right, and I will buy him tea and biscuits till he yaks if he is.
