Wow... really, gas makes less than oil. g12m0, I do not have any advantages in regards to speaking to 'major players', however, from the 200+ billion being spent on gas export infrastructure along Australia's coast, some large companies seem to think that Gas is a valuable and profit generating resource.
We both agree that the resources for Wet Gas will be huge, but we have different views as to whether DLS should be sharing the development costs. For me, its better for DLS, as being part of the development means larger profits down the track. If you think Oil is the only profitable area for DLS future, I just find it very strange that you hold shares... as Oil is not going to be the be all end all for them. Although Flax/Juniper could be a company maker.
If gas prices head a lot higher, the numbers you quote will change dramatically (and you know it).
Middleton is the first plant, when they start on the 2nd, third etc etc, prices reduce, profits increase.
