I think we should be sharing the pain and potential prize. 100% of zero is still zero.
If we divest 25% of MRD we still get 75% of the potential spoils. if they still hit nothing then we have that 25% payment and our partner paid for the exploration.
If we continue to stumble along we will be giving away the tenement at a fire sale or worst case the BoD may enter into one of those suspect scheme of arrangements that feathers their own nest at the expense of all shareholders. Have seen the latter many times.
A prudent and switched on BoD would be derisking the company whilst at the same time increasing the probability of an exploration hit.
All in my opinion.
