tightly held by Hutchison and vodaphone.. and 10% held by those days telecom nz.i think they are called spark telecom.so very small held by mums and dad investors....little trade because the fund managers with the cash are not holders,so they are not recommending these stocks to their portfolio holders....so it would be good if someone with good skills could run a ruler over this merger to give us some insight in what to expect...low volume trade yet tit did go up 51% today...that's good in anyones books....I would say more to come tomorrow as the news gets out......mr teo from tpg is no normal office desk worker he is outstanding person....if he wants something he will crunch the numbers and put the offer on the table ,some people say that he pays a premium for his purchases yet it has worked everytime so far.vodafone and tpg have been working together for years ,they share the network together andtheir will be little cost in the merge of the two companies.i would say its good timing as well because 5g is coming out and this would save on duplicatin. another cost saving for mr teo...as for huchison they are in it for the money so they will get a return and move on..they are a conglomerate with assets everyware...
