According to The Australian Financial Review, Hastings Fund Management, which owns seven per cent of BBI's preference shares, has indicated that it will support the recapitalisation plan, pushing BBI a step closer to the 75 per cent support it needs for the motion to pass.
So far, the company has received 18 per cent of the preference shares, largely in favour of the deal, which will go to a vote on Monday.
