I'm waiting for the next results alluded to in the ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 7 February 2012. Shouldn't be too long now. If they are as significant as prior results, should give the s/p a kick along.


"DRILLING UPDATE - Katanning
Ausgold Limited (“Ausgold” or the “Company”) (ASX: AUC) is pleased to advise that exploration at Katanning has identified a continuous gold mineralised corridor with a strike length in excess of 20 kilometres which constitutes the Katanning Gold Project. This zone is currently being drill tested within the Jinkas Corridor, a 4 kilometre section of the Katanning Gold Project between Fraser in the south, and the Olympia and Jackson prospects to the north..........."

"Large diameter diamond drilling within the Katanning Gold Project is nearing completion, and is expected to be completed during February. Holes completed are currently being logged and processed ahead of sampling of mineralised zones. Results from these holes are expected towards the end of the March 2012 quarter".

For what it's worth, Richard Lockwood will be attending the 2012 European Gold Forum in Zurich next Tuesday at a Special Opportunities Reception. Ausgold is the only Aussie company represented at this reception.
