I find the whole ALDI thing interesting.
1/ What happened to everyone saying 'buy Australian'. Yet we are willing to jump ship to ALDI and brag about it being the best thing since sliced bread.
2/ Everyone hates the generic brands. Yet, ALDI products somehow don't fall under this category.
3/ When the generic brand is taken into account, is ALDI all that cheaper anyway?
I would classify myself in the 'Middle Class' population currently being targeted by ALDI. I trialled it- was underwhelmed by their product choices/prices/whole experience. Didn't buy anything. No real urge to go back.
