Md- the only way Woolies will get back market share from Coles is not by price cutting.

they have to try and change the perception of the shopping public .

the easiest way to do this is with a rewards system like Coles.

ps- the only reason i now shop at Coles is because i get emailed special rewards. i even get that if i go to a Shell servo and swipe my Flybuys card.
that is why i feel Mr Banducci is barking up the wrong tree. simply said, i think he is missing the forest for the trees in his approach-cutting price and hence profit just to get same store sales up.
