It's just my personal opinion but layout and presentation of supermarket seems to be getting much better for Woolie than Coles. I don't know about Coles. My missus does runs to both shops and compare prices and then selectively buy from both supermarkets and she feels it all averages out and if you want a real value shopping, you can only do it buy shopping at both (some here, some there type). Woolie supermarkets seem to be going through some major innovations and I am sure it will start to look better. They are also focussing on small supermarkets (I feel like it's a little like attempting to get into 7-11 markets) which sells gourmet coffees and sheet (Like Starbucks/7-11 hybrid) I don't know if this is a good thing but I guess business always needs to be brave to try something out. I don't hold WOW yet but it got me to this forum coz I am starting to buy in and accumulate at these prices.
