There was an great article in the week end AFR and another article in the Australian yesterday. Noted down the key points.

1. Have a habit of mind that is best described as " applied curiousity" . They curious about everything and are curious about people. They like to connect the dots.

2. Love a challenge. Discomfort is their comfort zone. Like to get close to the fire.

3. Leaders need humility to know what they don't know ( this is connected to curiousity) . They have confidence when presented with ambiguity.

4. Trustworthiness is the No. 1. Do we trust them to do the right thing ? Do we trust them to own their mistakes ? You can't have trust without integrity . It's not how much your followers respect you it how much you ( CEO) respect them.

5. Competent CEO's don't complicate things. They have an acute sense of the importance of cash flow generation and capital allocation.
