Nearby Carosue Dam hosts the plant for surrounding Saracen (SAR) projects.
They obtained their South Laverton gold projects from St.Barbara Mines who in turn picked it up in the breakup of Sons of Gwalia.
They are intending to commence production early next year and are refurbishing existing plant and facilities to this end.
SAR refers to the area as a "world class gold mining district" with "significant exploration potential".
