Based on their previous earnings and current guidance, i'm expecting a dividend of 4cps. However with this environment, even if they declare 2.5 - 3 cps, that will be great (atleast it will help the share price not to go down the drain into single digit).
However i'm of the opinion that even they don't give any divs if they are able to use that money to repay their debt/expand their operations that'll be beneficial as well in long term.
IMO, we are over from the credit crisis...as you can see that banks are willing to give housing loans at 4.99% (WBC) fixed rates for suitable people or whoever applying for that... and this financial storm has taken out some real bad companies who cannot withstand the crisis... so the debt shouldn't be a problem, if the people who have debt knows how to use them smartly...:-)
hope EHL survives and comes up good in long term...
Today i'm wondering that the whole market is up by more than 2%. What happened to EHL?? Earlier we know that it was getting shorted heavily...but what now?? Why is it bucking the market trend??
Really appreciate any comments...
Cheers
