The growth in this stock has been phenomenal. At their low of $0.07 in December 2014 they had a market cap of just $35m. Now after just 19 months they have increased 50 fold to have a market cap of more than $1.7 billion.
They have always been good operators but came unstuck after taking over allied gold a few years ago. Had they not done that they would easily be over $10 today. But all credit to management for such a spectacular recovery from this big mistake and SBM will once again soon be cashed up and debt free.
Still sitting at half the cap of NST, also very good operators.
