The timetable suggests the 1st court hearing in late May with the despatch of the scheme booklet to shareholders also in late May.
Things are getting closer to this timetable now.
The independent experts advice is to be included in the scheme booklet.
To me, it appears that the independent experts advice should have been done first to save all the anguish.
If the experts advice is similar to that of CSAG, and to save face it should - we don't have a valid scheme.
Could it be that QUIGEN are likely to look at the response of CSAG and say we have no hope of securing this deal at a reasonable price and call it off?
At worst we are looking at a 24.3% drop in price.
At best we are likely to get an offer significantly higher. The strength of CSAG would suggest to me that we have a major obstacle to continue with valuations of $11 being touted.
