the price that Thorn actually pays for the fridge is what is regarded as the base price for charging interest.
Thorn has no legal right to charge interest on RRP.
the warranty is provided by the manufacturer and about the only out of pocket expenses are delivering the fridge.they get to keep it after expiry anyway, as the $1 try,buy scheme is a con and can then flog it off to 2nd hand merchants.
of course they will say they donate these to charity. what a load of bunkum-if they did, then Radio Rentals would have the charities in direct competition of supplying fridges to the needy.

they are not selling the fridge, so have legal obligations for charging outlandish interest rates, but still are charging mind- boggling interest rates for unfortunates in our community, whilst you sip on your $50 wine.

ps-the interest rate caps are a huge problem.if the buy price of the fridge was exposed, Radio Rentals would most probably be exposed at charging close to 100% PA simple interest.

enough of smoke and mirrors by government, as they really want the 'Rip Off ' to continue.

    cheers crazypunter
