Radio Rentals will charge you $2080 if you keep it for 4 years and $2340 if you keep it for 3 years.

also, you have no legal option to purchase the product after the lease for $1.

in any event- the person renting the fridge for 3 years pays simple interest of 78% PA.

sure radio rentals will install and service the fridge, but so will the ordinary electrical retailer, as the fridge is automatically warranted for at least 5 years by consumer law.

in other words-so called 'desperates' know they are being ripped off.

that's why the government inquiry has only started-one more report to Current Affair by a disgruntled customer and Radio Rentals are in the spotlight again.
