Thanks for the figures BuyandHold.

They tally with the data I looked at in BOL's company profile on E*trade -- reproduced (hopefully legibly) below.

And I realise I assumed LT debt as a percentage of capital was the D/E ratio... SORRY :-(

Brambles and Telstra have higher D/E ratios than BOL. Live and learn.

Taking another swing at this one, is the market concerned about BOL's income coverage? I have a memory of reading something like this recently. But BOL doesn't seem to be especially unusual in this regard. BOL's cover is 4.7 vs a sector figure of 5.7 (E*trade data again). I guess it would be more of an issue if cash flow falls and financing costs rise.
