This shows poor governance. Their end of year is 30 September and we only get the advice after the year has ended, surely they know their business well enough to give advice earlier. The comment that a few contracts have moved out sounds bizarre given they claim to be a SAAS provider, so the numbers should not have large lumps. They will miss their number by around $3m! I think the reputational damage of Brisbane City Council is getting other prospective customers to re-think any purchase of Technology One software. I also hear that their CI Anywhere product will not be completed for 2 years, I thought it was meant to be completed by now, so I think there are underlying issues in the company. I hope not, as they seemed to be a genuine good news story, but they seem to be having a horrible year. Legal issues with Brisbane City Council, missing software delivery dates, and missing revenue targets, with advice given late does not display good governance.
