It would be interesting to know when the EC Commission brings out its findings on their property valuation methodology review, which commenced a while back. It looks likely they will recommend a swift change to a more longer term, earnings based methodology, not so much influenced by the mass delusions of crowds one type of which we are experiencing at the moment. Other things being equal when a building incorporating the latest technology and a thousand man years of work is saleable at only the equivalent of 500, when little new stock is being added to the market, needs some review at an official level. This will benefit not only the bankers but investors in trusts who will have less anxiety about "covenant" breaches etc. Im not being terribly accurate in my expression here, as like most I have alot of balls to try to keep in the air. If it has realsed its report I wouldnt be talikg about it Id be reading it then buying swiftly before anyone else woke up.
