Perhaps the market reacting to news that the Virgin / Air New Zealand partnership was over? Even though it was known for some time. Also, VAH is somewhat illiquid so even a slight increase in volume can move it hard as we saw in November when some big players bought it up hard but could not get any supply.

The share price is quite low now considering as of the 1H the NTA attributable to owners per share was 20c ...

I expect VAH will continue to build on its current recovery journey for now and this presents a great entry opportunity again.
