I sold a parcel at 9.07 recently to fund another opportunity but DOW have been excellent lately, just slowly climbing up and up.

My original parcel was purchased years ago and was frankly under-performing but recent gains have been so good that I too came to the conclusion that Downer was overbought and things were too good to be true. Hence the partial sale - an each way bet.

I can't advise on an exit point but I do think that mining and infrastructure are gonna be all go and the local infrastructure mobs don't have to worry about fluctuations in the dollar. Miners might find that the strong dollar hurts their exports.... Not that it is is sufficient to stop investing in the mad rush to dig up our natural resources and sell 'em to China!

Indeed, I sold DOW to buy CRK (A gold explorer / miner).

McMahon Holdings (MAH) have been a good earner for me in recent times but I got stopped out unexpectedly and didn't buy back in.

Just some disconnected ramblings over lunch. Gotta earn some coin. Seeya.

Still rate DOW a long term buy but all my investments are LT.

Short term (weeks) I feel they might be a bit hot ATM (But I know little more than what I read).
