Many of ASB's fast ferries operate on core passenger service routes or as naval / police vessels. I doubt that fuel prices will affect any of these anywhere near to the same extent as plane travel - which has a larger proportion of discretionary travel. Indeed, as with planes it may increase demand for faster & more fuel efficient new models!
IMHO, all stocks referenced back to fuel use are nevertheless being clobbered while the oil price is up & threatening. Shall await a change in sentiment in this regard before re-investing in this great Ozzie company.
