    There is a presentation on their website dated Feb 2013 and page 14 has the heading "Simple Open Pit Mining".

    The same page states "Open pit mining using drill and blast followed by diesel powered truck and shovel operation".

    BTW, I'm also a newbie to the Aust market and all this resource stuff, although I've traded the US market (mainly ETFs)for a few years while I was overseas.
