    been trying to work that out myself. So looked at reports from antares energy (previously amity oil) as I knew they had found gas before. For their grocelor-2 well a progress report (http://www.asx.com.au/asx/statistics/showSignalgDetail.do?issuerId=1960&announcementId=446582) stated

    "Hydrocarbons:
    Peak mud gas shows 1,132 1,168m 10 to 30 units (C1, trace C2);
    1,254-1,258 750 units (C1, trace C2); 1,322 1,326 75 units (C1,
    trace C2); 1,326 1,330 25 units (C1, trace C2)."

    3 days later (http://www.asx.com.au/asx/statistics/showSignalgDetail.do?issuerId=1960&announcementId=449393) the region from 1254-1258m proved to be commercial

    "At 1130 hours Turkish time, on 23 December 2001, well bore casing
    over a 17 metre zone of sandstone in the Danismen Formation was
    perforated from 1253 metres to 1270 metres in the Gocerler-2 well.
    Gas reached the surface in a few minutes and in a series of
    continuous flow tests over six hours, flowed at a stabilized rate of
    5.4 million cubic feet (151,700 cubic metres) per day through a
    (36/64) inch choke at a flowing tubing pressure of 670 psi."

    Don't know if you can use this as a guide but if so (and with elevated gas readings peaking at 687 units c.f. 750 units) maybe there is considerable hope.
    We shall find out soon enough
