In fact if you picked his chance rather than the alternative you proffered 'None' then you'll be pleased to know he survived by living with the local aborigines here around Geelong for 32 yrs till he assimilated back in with white men from Batman's Port Philip settlers' party and then survived 20 odd more years till in his seventies, dying from injuries sustained in a 'traffic accident' in Hobart town. So there is some hope the Shell bid will survive intact.
