Haven't visited the AVQ threads for a while as I am an ex shareholder who thankfully got out just on break even. I feel for remaining shareholders who are now looking at a current share price of 6.5c. Having been to the Solomon islands and met with the Government on behalf of clients in the past I know how difficult it is to do get anything done there - it is incredibly difficult.
The main reason for my exit a few years back now was the lack of any real progress, ongoing promises that never happened and RMs remuneration which is insane for a company like AVQ. I read the Annual report that was issued a few years back and also felt uncomfortable about the fees and expenses that were flowing out and what seemed very loose corporate governance overall. There are also any number of emerging projects with similar resources that are probably easier to fund and you don't have to deal with the Solomon islands.
