How will the friendly settlement this week between Rio Tinto & Robert Friedland affect IVA in Australia? It's suggested that in the future there will be some sort of cash & scrip settlement between the two parties and that Robert may move to newer if not greener pastures, repeating the same manoeuvre as with Inco & Voisey's Bay. Also that IVA might be cut out of the main deal. No doubt this was one of the reasons for stock price changes for those with such amazing foresight. I guess more of the pieces will fall into place later in the year. IVA and KAR were terrific bargains just a couple of months ago.
